Fixed Installations
We have no axe to grind when it comes to equipment selection and our installations of Split and Packaged Air Conditioning systems include products from a wide range of the major manufacturers such as:
Fixed Equipment is available to suit many different applications with indoor units to match most people's requirements; from concealed units that are hidden in a ceiling void or behind a bespoke cabinet, to various types of floor, wall or ceiling units.
Any room to be treated should be measured by a qualified person who has experience of how air conditioning works. Any sources of heat or cold need to be taken into consideration to accurately determine the correct output of system needed and the best place to locate both indoor and outdoor equipment.

Portable Equipment
Portable Air Conditioners have come down in price over the years and are often the first introduction to the benefits of air conditioning for many people.
Although they take up floor space and can be slightly noisy in comparison to permanently installed equipment, they can just be wheeled into location, plugged into a standard electrical outlet and switched on.
Most portables tend to be used for seasonal localised cooling or in office spaces where fixed equipment is not allowed. They are available in two types - monobloc and split portable.
Monobloc Portable's have a hose (similar to a tumble dryer type) approximately 10cm in diameter and 1.5metre long to exhaust the heat out of a room, either via a slightly open window or door; or they can be connected to a through-wall-kit where available.
Split Portable's tend to have a higher cooling output than monobloc's and are similar to fixed split air conditioning systems except they are, err, umm …portable!
They usually have a floor standing indoor and outdoor component connected to each other with refrigerant grade copper pipe and control cable. The copper is flexible, approximately the width of two garden hosepipes and between 2 to 5 metres long (depending on make / model); and protected by a rubber sleeve. This flexible connection allows the outdoor unit to be moved outside to remove any heat when the system is operating, then the unit can be brought back inside when not in use.
Subject to availability, portable equipment can normally be supplied to mainland
In addition to all of the above we have supplied refrigeration equipment from the suppliers Cool Point and
